Media History Study Compendium
The digital study compendium for media history is a long time project, aiming to provide a solid overview about the development of information storage in distinct historic ages and to support studies of historico-cultural topics. The contents will be worked out by students within a project seminar and partly made available in moodle. Besides from the completed chapters, that will also be relevant for other media historic related studies, students can benefit from the manifold fields of work covered by this seminar. On the one hand, practical engagement in different, comprehensive aspects of Library and Information Science like media history, computer technologie and internet copyright helps them to deepen their expertise. On the other hand, participants will develop competences for both independent and team orientated scientific work.
