The Berlin School's curriculum balances the digital future with practical training for future librarians and professionals in the information industry (including publishing, interface design and evaluation). The curriculum puts a strong emphasis on the research-orientation necessary for future problem solving. Professors at the Berlin School put into practice the Humboldt principles of the unity of teaching and research.
