Im Projekt Open Access Szenarienanalysen (OASA) werden die aktuellen Herausforderungen der Open-Access-Transformation im Bereich der Finanz- und Organisationsstruktur durch Analysen bearbeitet und Empfehlungen zur weiteren Adressierung der Open- Access-Transformation in Deutschland gegeben. Ziel des Projektes OASA ist es, verschiedene finanzielle Entwicklungsperspektiven im Bereich von Open Access zu analysieren und ihre potenziellen Auswirkungen zu bewerten.
Mit einer systematischen Untersuchung anhand von Szenarien soll ein umfassendes Verständnis für die Chancen, Herausforderungen und Risiken der Weiterentwicklung der Open-Access-Transformation gewonnen werden.
Durch vielfältige partizipative Formate, die Entwicklung von Empfehlungen und Transferaktivitäten wird das operative Handeln an wissenschaftlichen Einrichtungen und ihren Bibliotheken unterstützt. Dadurch wird die Strukturbildung für die Open-Access-Transformation in Deutschland in Interaktion mit internationalen Akteuren gefördert.
Open Access Scenario Analysis (OASA)
In the Open Access Scenario Analysis (OASA) project, current challenges in the financial and organizational structure are addressed through analysis, and recommendations are provided for further addressing the Open Access transformation in Germany.
The goal of the OASA project is to analyze various financial development perspectives in the realm of Open Access and to assess their potential impacts.
Through systematic examination based on scenarios, a comprehensive understanding of the opportunities, challenges, and risks of the further development of the Open Access transformation will be obtained. Through a variety of participatory formats, the development of recommendations, and transfer activities, operational actions at academic institutions and their libraries are supported. This promotes the structural formation for the Open Access transformation in Germany in collaboration with international stakeholders.
Partners include the Central Library of Forschungszentrum Jülich, the research and teaching group Information Management at the Berlin School of Library and Information Science (IBI), the Helmholtz Open Science Office, the University Library of RWTH Aachen University, and the University Library of Leipzig University.
