The anthology "Going Green: Implementing Sustainable Strategies in Libraries around the World " is the result of the project seminar “Von der Idee zum Buch” ("From the Idea to the Book") of the winter semester 2017/2018, which has already been carried out now for 15 years. This year's focus will be on the Green Library and sustainability. The volume collects various contributions ranging from general questions to concrete case studies. They show the diversity of the topic and how people from the fields of library and information science deal with it. The fact that more than just a green coat of paint is needed on the way to a sustainable library should become clear after reading this volume at the latest.

A little book tip at the end: If you would like to find out more about the Green Library, you should also take a look at "The Green Library = Die Grüne Bibliothek"
