Vergabe des VFI-Förderungspreises 2012



Assistant Prof. Dr. Elke Greifeneder (Royal School of Library and Information Science) has won the VFI (Verein zur Förderung der Informationswissenschaft or Association for the Advancement of Information Science) doctoral prize for 2012 for her dissertation "Does it matter where we test? Online user studies in digital libraries in natural environments".

VFI is a highly regarded organisation in both Germany, Austria, and Schwitzerland. The dissertation was written at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Elke is the first person ever to win a VFI prize twice (she won it earlier for her Magister thesis).
